The Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has awarded a $2,185 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education® grant to Gravette Upper Elementary for purchasing a teleprompter and camera for their student led news show, Lion Pride News. Gravette Upper Elementary is one of 587 schools across the United States to be awarded a Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant during its Fall 2018 grant cycle for improvement projects.
Since its inception in 2005, Lowe’s Toolbox for Education has provided more than $60 million in grants to more than 13,000 schools, benefiting more than 6 million schoolchildren. Grants are available to K-12 public schools in the United States for a wide range of improvement projects. #Toolbox4Education
This past Saturday our GUE "Mechanicons" team placed 1st in Excellence and Teamwork and 2nd place for Robot Skills.
They will represent GUE at the State Robotics Championship in March!
We are so very proud of this team, especially since it is their FIRST competition!
