Girls Basketball Page

My name is Kayla Shortt, I have been teaching in the Gravette school district since 2013. I am married to Owen Shortt, he is a teacher in Oklahoma and he also referees college division 1 mens basketball, I'm very proud of his achievements. We have a wonderful addition to our family, JT was born March 1, 2016. He is our pride and joy!
I teach Physical Education and Health grades 6-8. I am the head 7th grade and JR high girls basketball coach, I also assist on the varsity girls basketball team. My goals for my classroom students and athletes are to foster the development of a positive mental attitude and good sportsmanship, be competitive/fearless and have a love for a healthy and active lifestyle.
