• GHS Driver's Education: Summer classes only

A driver's education course is a vital resource for any prospective driver that wants to be smarter, safer, and more responsible on the road. While the Arkansas Office of Driver Services does not require you to complete Driver's Ed before getting your driver's license, it is an invaluable resource for all new drivers.

Although driver's education is not currently required in Arkansas, the Arkansas Department of Career Education has established some standards for the course:

    • 30 hours of classroom instruction.
    • 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training on public roads.
    • 6 hours of in-car observation.
*Contact the High School office after Spring Break for enrollment information.
