Welcome! My name is Jared Magness and I teach second grade here at the AMAZING Glenn Duffy Elementary. I am looking forward another great year in second grade!

I now have 4 years in the teaching field under my professional belt, all at Glenn Duffy. I got my Early Childhood Education degree from Arkansas Tech University in May of 2013. Born in raised in Harrison, Arkansas, I have a family that is entrenched in education. My mother and sister are educators, my brother is in an administrator in education and a former teacher, and while my father is an accountant, he also serves on the school board in Harrison. The passion for educating has been instilled in me for some time.

I enjoy volunteering and working in youth sports along with my career in education. I have a distinct passion for helping and working with youth, and I hope this passion is evident to all my students and parents.
