Welcome to first grade! I am looking forward to a great year together.

I have lived in Northwest Arkansas my entire life. I grew up on a small farm outside of Bentonville. My childhood was spent heavily involved in church and 4-H. Showing my market lambs and rabbits in the county fair was a highlight of every year. As I went into high school, my interests shifted into choir, student council and tutoring others. I found my love for teaching during these tutoring sessions. I went on to graduate from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Elementary Education and have spent the last eleven years teaching young learners.

While in college, I married my sweet heart. We now have a third grade son, a two year old daughter, and will be celebrating our fourteenth anniversary over Christmas break.

I can't wait to get to know our families.
