Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Alisa Corke
I grew up in a small town in north central Arkansas, Cotter. I came to college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and then stayed for 30 years. In July, 2017, I moved to Las Vegas and taught 8th grade science at a junior high school. After one year, I decided to return to Arkansas. This is my first year at Gravette, but my 14th year in teaching. From 2005 until 2012 I taught in the Springdale Schools alternative settings. I ran a stand-alone classroom for grades 6-8 and then I taught science, social studies, and personal finance at the alternative high school. I live in Rogers with my 9 pound dog, Tinkerbell. My daughter and her husband live in Memphis, Tennessee. My son and his fiancee live in Austin, Texas. I enjoy doing crafts, yard work, and attending community events. It is going to be an exciting and active time in ALE this year!!
