Mask Mandate Statement

Update to Ready for Learning Plan

On Monday, April 12th, 2021, the Gravette School Board voted to make the wearing of masks optional for students, staff and visitors while on the campuses and buses of Gravette Public Schools. The school board took several factors into consideration when making this decision. These factors include public comments, family and staff survey data, CDC guidelines and data related to Covid-19 cases among students and staff. The district will continue to update the Gravette School website with active Covid-19 cases on a daily basis and follow the health department guidance on quarantine. This will assist parents, students and staff in making an informed decision on the option to wear a mask or protective face covering. School staff will continue to take precautions in preventing Covid-19. These precautions include additional cleaning of surfaces and physical distancing when possible.
