Congratulations to GMS Assistant Principal and Head Varsity Golf Coach, Bryan Bearden, for being awarded the title of 4A-1 Girls Golf Coach of the Year! This past Tuesday at the District Golf Tournament, not only did our golf teams take home several titles, but Coach Bearden did too! Bearden stated, "It's all because of my phenomenal athletes. They lift me up and I give all the credit to them."
Awards:
- Our varsity girls came back with the DISTRICT CHAMP title and will compete in the State Tournament next week at Cherokee Village in Hot Springs, AR.
- Our varsity boys team won 3rd overall.
- Teagen Muldoon won 1st place overall in the girls' division.
- Drake Madison and Hale Stamps qualified as Individuals to compete at the State Tournament in Jonesboro in two weeks.
