Several nutrition programs are available this summer to help families who need a little extra help over the break. This includes our Summer Meal Program from the Gravette School District Food Services Department and direct grocery benefits from the state of Arkansas. The Summer EBT program provides a one-time grocery benefit of $120 for each eligible school-aged child in the household.
The district will host a drive-thru meal program at the Gravette Upper Elementary Playground Drive-thru. Starting May 26 and running through July 24, 2026, all children ages 18 and under can receive free meals. These meals will be served Monday through Thursday between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Please note that no meals will be served on Fridays. While meals are free for children, adults may also purchase breakfast for $3.00 or lunch for $5.00.
For Summer EBT, many families will be enrolled for grocery benefits automatically, while others must submit an application by August 30, 2026. Children who currently receive SNAP, TEA, or Medicaid benefits are generally enrolled without any further action. If your family is not automatically enrolled, you can visit https://www.ar.gov/SummerEBT for more information. If you still have a Summer EBT card from a previous year, any new benefits will be loaded onto that same card.

Gravette School District Summer Meal Program
Pick up free summer meals for children ages 18 and under at the Gravette Upper Elementary playground drive-thru starting May 26. This service ensures our kids have access to healthy food while school is on summer break.

Families can drive through the Gravette Upper Elementary playground area to get food for all children in the house at no cost. These meals help our kids stay fed and healthy during the summer months when school is out. No meals are served on Fridays. Adults may also buy breakfast for 3.00 or lunch for 5.00 at the site.
