We are thrilled to welcome your students to the Gravette School District for the 2021-22 school year. You can find our important Back to School Dates for all schools below.
Gravette High School
Have your students join us on August 3rd for Freshman Boot Camp! They'll get to make connections with their classmates and upperclassmen. This event gives them a chance to explore the school and learn more about the transition from middle school to high school. Freshman Boot Camp is on August 3rd from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Parents and guardians can sign-up their student by clicking here.
New parents can begin registering their high school students on August 4th. The office will be open between 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. each weekday starting on the 4th for registration. At the high school, students are able to look through our offerings and request courses. Student schedules will be completed after we receive current grades/transcripts from the sending school. Come explore the school with your students and learn more about what Gravette High School has to offer!
Open House is the following week on August 10th between 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. We're excited for another great year at GHS!
Gravette Middle School
Get ready to roar into the new school year with us at Gravette Middle School! New Student Registration for 6th through 8th grade is on August 4th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Staff will close for lunch between 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Parents and guardians please bring your child/children's completed enrollment forms, birth certificate, social security card, and proof of residency. Parents can come up to the school to register their new student each weekday between the hours listed above. We advise parents to do it as soon as possible.
Open House is on August 10th from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Come see what courses GMS has to offer, meet our teachers, and explore the middle school before the first day of class!
Parking for 6th grade will be outside of the Comp/Volleyball Gym on the east side of the building. Please enter through the east entrance of the middle school building across from the Volleyball Gym.
Parking for 7th and 8th grade parents, guardians, and students will be on the west side of the building near the main entrance. Please enter the building through the main entrance.
Gravette Upper Elementary
August and the first day of school is just weeks away! We want to make sure your kids start off the year as prepared as possible. New Student Registration for Upper Elementary 3rd through 5th grade begins on August 2nd from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Parents and guardians please bring your child/children's completed enrollment forms, birth certificate, social security card, and proof of residency. Parents can come up to the school to register their new student each weekday between 8 a.m. - 4p.m. We advise parents to do it as soon as possible.
Come take a look at your child's new classroom and meet their teachers at our Open House on August 10th. Your child's teacher will call you to schedule a time between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Unfortunately, parents won't be able to walk students to class this year. Open House is a great way to introduce your kids to their next big step. All of our staff at GUE will make sure your children feel comfortable and safe. We can't wait to get started for another fantastic year!
Glenn A. Duffy Elementary
Glenn A. Duffy Elementary staff and teachers are ready to welcome your students! For our kindergartners, our Open House Kindergarten Round Up is on August 3rd from 8:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon. Parents and guardians need to sign up for a time slot through our Kindergarten Round Up article. Each slot is for one hour.
Open House for Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade is on August 10th. Teachers will call parents/guardians to schedule a time between 8:30a.m. - 7 p.m. for August 10th.
Unfortunately, parents and guardians will not be allowed to walk their children to class on the first day of school. Instead we will provide every family that comes to Open House a free printed picture. We will take the pictures and distribute them once school starts. This is your chance to dress up and receive a special back to school photo! Everyone at GDE is excited for another great school year!!
