We are happy to announce our first Golden Paw Award recipients of the new school year. These students were selected by staff members for demonstrating the Seven Habits in their classrooms and hallways.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Each student who earns a Golden Paw receives a bracelet to wear. Their name is also entered into a drawing for a chance to be selected as the Student of the Week.
Elliot, Student of the Week for August 25th
Our Student of the Week is Elliot from Mrs. Bayley's Kindergarten class. He was recognized for modeling Habit 1, Be Proactive. This habit teaches children that they are in charge of their own choices and behaviors. Elliot demonstrates this by following directions quickly and helping his classmates without being asked.
