We are delighted to recognize the students who earned Golden Paw Awards this week. These awards highlight children who put the Seven Habits into action within our classrooms and throughout our school.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Students who receive this honor are given a Golden Paw bracelet to keep. They are also entered into a weekly drawing to select the Student of the Week.
Jocelyn, Student of the Week for January 5th
The Student of the Week for January 5th is Jocelyn from Mrs. Rutledge's classroom. She was recognized for demonstrating Habit 6, Synergize. This habit teaches students that we can achieve more when we work together than when we work alone. Jocelyn models this by actively listening to her group members and combining everyone's ideas to solve problems.
