We are thrilled to announce the latest group of Golden Paw Award winners at our school. These students were selected because they actively model the Seven Habits in the classroom, the cafeteria, and on the playground.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Each winner receives a Golden Paw bracelet as a token of this achievement. Their names are also entered into a weekly drawing to select the Student of the Week.
Marley, Student of the Week for September 22nd
Our Student of the Week is Marley from Mrs. Bayley's Kindergarten class. She was recognized for modeling Habit 1, Be Proactive. This habit teaches children that they are in charge of their own moods and choices. Marley demonstrates this by choosing a positive attitude each morning and following classroom routines without needing reminders.
