We are catching up on our celebrations this week by recognizing the Golden Paw Award winners from the past two weeks. These students were selected by our staff for modeling the Seven Habits in their classrooms and setting a positive example for their peers.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Each winner receives a Golden Paw bracelet to mark their achievement. They are also entered into a weekly drawing for the chance to be named Student of the Week.
Hadley, Student of the Week for January 23rd
Our Student of the Week is Hadley from Mrs. Crawford's classroom. She was recognized for practicing Habit 4, Think Win-Win. This habit encourages students to balance courage and consideration to find solutions where everyone benefits. Hadley demonstrates this by being willing to compromise and finding ways for everyone to succeed during group activities.
