Golden Paw Awards Mar 3

We are proud to share the names of this week's Golden Paw Award recipients. Educators across our school identified these children for consistently applying the Seven Habits to their daily routines.

  1. Be Proactive (Take Charge)

  2. Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)

  3. Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)

  4. Think Win-Win

  5. Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood

  6. Synergize (Play Well With Others)

  7. Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)

Children who earn this distinction receive a Golden Paw bracelet to recognize their positive behavior. Earning this award also secures their entry into our weekly drawing for Student of the Week.

Xander, Student of the Week for March 2nd

Xander, a second-grade student in Mrs. Rutledge's class, is our Student of the Week. He earned this selection by demonstrating Habit 6, Synergize. This habit focuses on the concept that working as a team produces stronger results than working individually. Xander shows this by listening to his peers during group projects and combining different ideas to complete assignments effectively.
