It is a wonderful day in our final winter weather stretch to highlight the newest recipients of the Golden Paw Award. Our staff selected these children for putting the Seven Habits into practice during their classes and recess.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Every Golden Paw earner receives a bracelet to keep as a reminder of their achievement. This recognition also places their name in a drawing for the Student of the Week honor.
Maddie, Student of the Week for March 9th

Our Student of the Week is Maddie from Mrs. Pruitt's second-grade class. She earned this selection by demonstrating Habit 3, Put First Things First. This habit teaches students to prioritize their responsibilities before moving on to free time. Maddie models this by sitting down to complete her work before moving on to other activities.
