It is a great day to recognize several students who have shown leadership this month. These kids earned Golden Paw Awards by modeling the Seven Habits in our hallways and classrooms.
Be Proactive (Take Charge)
Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Think Win-Win
Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Synergize (Play Well With Others)
Sharpen the Saw (Take Care of Yourself)
Recipients of these awards are given a bracelet and have their names placed in a drawing for our Student of the Week.
Tatum, Student of the Week for April 6th
Tatum, a student in Mrs. Bayley's Kindergarten class, is our Student of the Week. She was selected for demonstrating Habit 7, Sharpen the Saw. This habit teaches children the importance of balance and taking care of their minds and bodies. Tatum shows this by using her quiet time to recharge and making healthy choices that help her stay focused on learning throughout the day.
