Glenn A. Duffy Elementary staff and teachers are ready to welcome your students! New Student Registration for Kindergarten through 2nd grade will begin on August 2nd from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Parents and guardians please bring your child/children's completed enrollment forms, birth certificate, social security card, and proof of residency. Parents can come up to the school to register their new student each week day between 8 a.m. - 4p.m. We advise parents to do it as soon as possible.
For our kindergartners, our Open House Kindergarten Round Up is on August 3rd from 8:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon. Parents and guardians need to sign up for a time slot through our Kindergarten Round Up article. Each slot is for one hour.
Open House for Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade is on August 10th. Teachers will call parents/guardians to schedule a time between 8:30a.m. - 7 p.m. for August 10th.
Unfortunately, parents and guardians will not be allowed to walk their children to class on the first day of school. Instead we will provide every family that comes to Open House a free printed picture. We will take the pictures and distribute them once school starts. This is your chance to dress up and receive a special back to school photo! Everyone at GDE is excited for another great school year!!
