Last week, our girl's golf team traveled to Cherokee Village for the state championships and battled it out till the very end! Brookland won the team title with a 244, topping Shiloh Christian (258) by 14 strokes. Gravette was third at 261, Nashville was fourth at 262 and Highland was fifth at 265. Individually, Anna Kate Nichols of Pulaski Academy won her third consecutive state championship with a 6-under-par 66, topping Tori Milton of Crossett, who shot a 68. Kody Redman of Brookland was third at 71. Teagan Muldoon of Gravette was fourth at 77 and Madison Pennington of Clarksville was fifth at 78.
