Students in Gravette High School's Outdoor Pursuits class recently participated in a trap shooting excursion sponsored by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. This hands-on outing provided direct instruction in firearm safety, practical shooting skills, and personal responsibility within a controlled, supervised environment.
This opportunity was possible because of our community partners. We are grateful for the expertise and guidance shared by Jordan Bevil from the AGFC, Lonnie Robinson of Benton County Quail, and Brian McKinzie. These partnerships connect classroom learning to real-world applications and connect Lions to lifelong recreational opportunities.
Programs like Outdoor Pursuits equip our kids with practical skills while grounding them in the traditions of the natural world. Thank you to everyone who helped provide this opportunity for our students.
