Arkansas HOSA (formerly Health Occupations Students of America, now Future Health Professionals) State Leadership Conference was held in Hot Springs this February, and Gravette High School was represented by 42 students. Competing against peers from across the state, Gravette brought home 16 medals.
This two-day conference serves as the premier opportunity for students to showcase the clinical skills and healthcare knowledge developed through coursework and extracurricular activities.
Gravette HOSA built on last yearโs strong performance. In 2025, 32 students competed and brought home five medals. This year, with 10 additional competitors, the team more than tripled their medal count
The following students placed in the top three of their respective categories:
Gold Medalists
Kennedy Flynt
Bailey Flynt
Keira Ralph
Kinsley Burrow
Laney Burrow
Caylee Roughton
Silver Medalists
Emma Hageman
Parker Pittman
Alyn Rueda
Harper Phillips
Paisley Crane
Molly Flynt
Brianna Vega
Bronze Medalists
Evelyn Wootton
Svea Stauffacher
Sam Moore
Several competitors showed growth from last year. Emma Hageman and Parker Pittman advanced from Bronze to Silver, while Kennedy Flynt, Bailey Flynt, and Kinsley Burrow moved from Silver to Gold.

These competitions assess student competencies in Health Science and Biomedical Science, with industry professionals serving as exhibitors and judges. Beyond competition, Gravetteโs HOSA chapter remains active in the community, recently hosting a pickleball tournament benefiting local mental health groups and organizing a record-breaking blood donation drive.
By placing in the top three of their events, all 16 medalists have qualified for the HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC). They are eligible to represent Gravette on a global stage alongside more than 11,000 students from around the world.

A special thank you to Mrs. Robin Hilger for providing information and photos, and for her tireless dedication to mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Way to go, Lions!
