This week’s edition of Lion Pride News includes info on next week’s parent-teacher conferences on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00, the Once Upon a Time book fair in the library, and seventh and eighth grade AR reward day on Thursday, October 23.
Seventh grade will visit the Outsiders Museum in Tulsa, while eighth grade will have a half-day of gym activities. Students are also reminded that there is no school on Friday, October 24, for fall break, and Red Ribbon Week runs October 27–31 with upcoming activities and dress-up days. Builder Club’s dance is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, from 3:30 to 5:00 in the gym; tickets are available at lunch.
The episode includes Fact Tech Friday, where students separate myths from facts, and interactive segments like “Sing it First” and “Finish the Lyric.” Hoco Week highlights show top student outfits for PJ Day and Carnival Day, while interviews reveal favorite snacks and playful classroom stories. Levi also presents a humorous wildlife segment on “the most bullied species,” adding a creative twist to school spirit.
