What is Title I?
Established under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, Title I provides federal funding to schools serving communities in proportion to their economic needs. The program’s primary goal is to help students meet challenging state academic standards.
Title I benefits not only children who face obstacles to learning but also the entire school community by promoting:
Enhanced instruction and targeted resources
Strategies to close achievement gaps
Supportive learning environments
Family engagement opportunities
We look forward to seeing you there and partnering with you for student success.
