On today's edition of Lion Pride News, we're celebrating the completion of three state assessments. The school musical theater program is getting ready to transform the old gym into a stage for its production of Matilda next Friday at 7:00 p.m. Admission costs one dollar for community members who wish to support these performers. Joseph M. reached a rare academic milestone by earning over 910 points in the Accelerated Reading program. His achievement will be honored with a plaque in the library, marking him as one of only eight students to reach this level since 2016. Families can also learn about the summer 2027 trip to Puerto Rico during an informational meeting on May 7 at 5:00 p.m. in the Lion Learning Center.
As the academic year draws to a close, eighth graders reflect on their favorite experiences within the hallways of GMS. The production team notes that only a few LPN episodes remain for the semester. Families are invited to watch the final updates as the school year concludes.
