HAC
HAC is the Home Access Center where you can check your child's attendance and grades in real time. Remember to check HAC regularly to confirm that all work is completed and graded.
If you don't have your login info., please message the secretary Jodie Dueker and request your individualized login info.
all students have been registered with the hac site and have been logging in weekly to check their grades, so you can also ask them to access the site.
Math Work
Work will be posted on Google Classroom “While You Were Out.” Please make sure to check Google Classroom if your child is absent so they don’t fall behind.
Quarterly Reward Trips
in sixth grade, we have a reward field trip at the end of every quarter, and ELIGIBILITY to attend depends on the following qualifications:
no zeros/missing work
no more than 4 full day absences (32 class periods)
no more than 9 behavior checks
no office or bus referrals
less than 4 ZAPs
completed Book Bingo
Book Bingo
Your child has a Book Bingo in his/her ELA binder for you to review and should be reading about 20 minutes per night to complete it by the end of the nine weeks. he/she is expected to finish a book on THEIR independent reading level every two weeks to stay on track. It will be 10% of their nine week grade.
LATE WORK POLICY
Work will not be accepted more than 14 days after the due date.
Please check your child’s grades in hac often to help them prevent an oversight.

9/11: paper progress reports are handed to students. if your student has any failing grade, Please sign it and have your child return it to their advisor.
9/14: Book #2 due for book bingo
9/23: See You at the Pole (annual global day of prayer where Christian students gather at the school flagpole before school to pray)
9/28: book #3 due for BB
10/5-9: homecoming week (Be sure to check the school website for the list of dress up days: https://www.gravetteschools.net/)
10/9: entire book bingo due
Week of 10/18: Parent - teacher conferences (specific dates and times will be announced in Oct.)
10/23 & 10/26: no school
Leader in Me:
This month’s focus is being proactive. We will be encouraging students to solve problems by making plans with the end in mind. We will work on helping them to see how being organized and planning for the future can prevent issues so they never occur.
