Important Times
A great school day starts with being on time! Below are the daily arrival and dismissal times for Glenn A. Duffy Elementary. We encourage families to arrive a few minutes early to help students begin their day smoothly and ready to learn.
Morning Arrival
Drop-Off Begins: 7:30 a.m.
School Begins: 7:55 a.m.
Afternoon Dismissal
MondayโThursday: 3:05 p.m.
Friday: 2:10 p.m.

Glenn A. Duffy Elementary Open House
We hope to see everyone getting ready for the upcoming school year at the Glenn A. Duffy Elementary Open House!

Explore your child's new classroom and meet their teachers face-to-face before the first day of school. Students can find their desks and ask questions, helping them feel secure and prepared for the year ahead.
This evening gives new and returning families an opportunity to review curriculum details and connect directly with the principal and staff. We look forward to welcoming you into the building and starting the year strong.

After School Program
Registration for the free 21st Century After School Program opens Wednesday, August 6 at Open House and Thursday, August 7 online for kindergarten through eighth grade students. This afterschool program provides certified teacher tutoring, homework help, and enrichment activities Monday through Thursday from dismissal until 5:30 p.m.

Space is limited to students across kindergarten through eighth grade, so families should submit applications early. Paper applications can be submitted during Open House or turned in at the front office of your child's school starting August 7.
Acceptance notifications will be sent the last weeks of August before sessions begin on September 9. We look forward to supporting our students with structured learning and skill building after the school day ends.

Outdoor Classroom
We are excited to announce the grand opening of our Outdoor Classroom this school year! This special space will provide students with hands-on learning experiences as they explore nature, make observations, conduct investigations, and connect classroom lessons with the world around them.
