What is Open House and when is it?

Open House is a reception (normally held in the evening a few days before the school year begins) during which parents/students are welcome to attend! This opportunity gives parents/students the chance to find out who their teacher/teachers are, pick up the student's schedules, see the school building, map out where their classrooms are, drop off their school supplies, and get a quick overview of the year's expectations/curriculum.

I didn’t make it to the open house—how can I learn about my child’s teacher and other relevant info?

No problem! Just call your child’s school, and the office staff will provide you with all of the information you’ll need to know. Schedules can be picked up on the first day of school for middle and high school students.

Does Gravette School District offer after school care?

Yes! The 21st CCLC Program provides afterschool tutoring, homework help, learning, and enrichment time with a certified teacher. Parents need to fill out an application and attendance contract for their student(s) to take part. The program is offered to students in K-8th grade and is free! We have a limited number of spots available. If the program fills up, students will be placed on a waiting list. To learn more click the button below.

What is the Pre-K Program and how do I enroll?

The Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) program was created in 1991 to offer high quality early education services to children birth to five exhibiting developmental and socio-economic risk factors.  In 2003, the Arkansas Legislature made a commitment to expand early childhood education to serve low-income three and four-year old children in areas at high risk for academic failure with high quality pre-k services. This expansion, known as the Arkansas Better Chance for School Success, has become the state pre-kindergarten program.

Where can I find the school supply lists?

Click here to view supply lists for each grade

For High School: Students are given the bare minimum supplies to purchase at the beginning. These supplies will get your student through the first week or so without having to purchase additional supplies. As your student goes to their different classes/extra circular courses throughout the first week, the teachers will assign them more supplies to purchase specific to those classes.

When does my 6th - 12th grader pick up their Chromebook for the year?

Chromebook pick up for Gravette High School and Gravette Middle School will be Monday, July 27 – Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM at the

Western Benton County Career Center Building South Entrance (Across from Gravette Middle School)

Students under 18 will need a guardian with them to sign the Chromebook policy. If your student did not return their Chromebook/charger at the end of school, or intentionally damaged the device, an email and text were sent out at the beginning of Summer break with instructions on how to pay for the lost/destroyed property. Any student who stills owes for lost/destroyed property will not be given a Chromebook until the fees have been paid

If you are unable to make it during the scheduled date and times listed above, your child can pick up their Chromebook on the first day of school. Please note, it is mandatory that BOTH, you AND your child, sign a 1-1 technology device agreement before the technology department hands your child a Chromebook. This agreement goes over how to take care of the technology, what it will cost you to replace the technology, and so forth. It is mandatory that our technology department has this agreement signed by both parties before your child can physically have their Chromebook.

Can I walk my child to their first day of school this year?

For safety reasons and in the interest of efficiency, parents are not allowed in the building on the first day of school.

What is google classroom and does my child's teacher (or teachers) have one?

Google Classroom is a suite of online tools that streamlines assignments, boost collaboration, and foster communication between students and teachers. Google Classroom allows teachers to set assignments, have work submitted by students, to mark, and to return graded papers in a digital format. Since Google Classroom is online-based, you can access it in some form from pretty much any device with a web browser. Not all of Gravette School District's teachers utilize Google Classroom, please inquire with your student's individual teacher for further information.

Can I get in touch with someone before the new school year begins? I have so many questions!

All district Office personnel will be back two weeks before school begins. You can then call, email, or go in person to your child's school office to get your questions answered. Our administrative front office secretary, Mrs. Amanda Kelly, works year-round. She may not be able to answer questions specific to each school building, but she is available for general calls/questions!

If you are in need of contacting a specific teacher, please visit the staff section on the website of your child's school.
