Have you put it on your calendar yet to come to the Holiday Market?? 👀 We hope so! Take a look at just a few of the products that will be there. These flyers were designed by our 7th-grade students! Here's a word from one of our entrepreneurs, "Hi, I'm Molly. I have been making bracelets for a while now and decided to start selling them. I am so excited for you to stop by the holiday market." ☺
Don't miss out on today's Food Pantry! Please note, to qualify for the Gravette Bright Futures Food Pantry, the student (s) who attend our district MUST live directly in your home and you must be their sole guardian. Distribution is one per household. Unfortunately, there are not enough supplies to distribute goods to student's extended family members who live outside their homes such as aunts/uncles, grandparents, etc. The GOOD NEWS is that there is another local pantry, Outreach 58:10, that can help! Details are below. We thank you for understanding! 🧡

Did you know that as a parent of a GMS student you can visit our library during school hours? Our parent center has a plethora of captivating reads waiting for you!
📖 Here's another book recommendation from Mr. Walker! This book is in our Parent Center. Mr. Bennett has collected hundreds of stories in The Book of Virtues, an instructive and inspiring anthology that will help children understand and develop character -- and help adults teach them. From the Bible to American history, from Greek mythology to English poetry, from fairy tales to modern fiction, these stories are a rich mine of moral literacy, a reliable moral reference point that will help anchor our children and ourselves in our culture, our history, and our traditions -- the sources of the ideals by which we wish to live our lives. Complete with instructive introductions and notes, The Book of Virtues is a book the whole family can read and enjoy -- and learn from -- together. We couldn't accomplish all that we do without YOU. Builder's Club would like to say a big THANK YOU to Stacey who did the photos for our Fall Dance last month. Her business - www.walkinginhisstepsphotography.com - provided high-quality renders and a quick turnaround so our students could enjoy the pics too. 🥰
Mark your calendars ‼ On December 19th at the basketball games, our 7th grade Gifted & Talented students are hosting a "Holiday Market". They have been working on entrepreneurship and what that entails. Students will be selling mini foam fingers, sports stickers, bracelets, and SO much more! Consider coming out and supporting all the hard work these students put into this event. ☺
Last night's band concert was spectacular! Students, you continue to blow us away every year! Also, let's show some love to our two directors, Mr. Ray & Mr. Hendricks, who provide the leadership and knowledge to guide these students to such success 👏👏👏
Congratulations to our Student Spotlight of the Week, Emilio Garivay 🌟 Mr. Leach said, "Emilio has been an outstanding student from day one in science. He has the best attitude and works hard. Student SHOUT OUT 📣 Mrs. Hull-Folker wanted to shine the light on this talented artist, Jesus Soto. Jesus THRIVES in the art room and we can tell why! When we asked what he gathers inspo from Jesus replied, "A lot of things. TikTok. Adventure Time the show. Cartoons in general. The piece with the three boys is me and my two friends, actually. I really enjoy art. " ☺ We see great things in your future, Jesus!
Mrs. Galloway's room is giving us all the Christmas feels! 🎄Her students recently explored her Christmas children's book collection. They read to each other, played games, and found new books to look up for the littles in their life. ☺
Well, well, well. 👀 We know who is getting coal in their stockings this year!
