
Mr. Leach's 8th-grade science class is back at it again with the fruit flies!! Now, they are separating them into Male & Females. Did you know only the female fruit flies have wings? 🔬 Our GMS students do!! 🦁




Mr. Boyd's 8th graders are learning to code low-level videogames! One of Boyd's students, Jack, said "it makes learning way more fun when you can see the end result". We agree, Jack! Keep up the fun and learning! 💻

This was a SPECIAL night. Earlier this week, 7th & 8th-grade students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Loved ones filled the seats and watched as these dedicated students received a white rose from Mrs. Gibson. 🧡🦁 #experiencetheleadership





7th-grade art student, Reese Long, won FIRST place in the district for the International Lions Club’s Peace Poster Contest. 🎨 A BIG thank you to The Gravette Lions Club for sponsoring Reese’s artwork and helping our GMS art students express their visions of peace and inspiring the world through art and creativity. P.E coach, Mrs. Shortt, is pushing her kids to be the best version of themselves! 🏃♂️ 7th & 8th-grade students rotated through stations like walking the bleachers, basketball, jump rope, sit-ups, volleyball passes, tricep dips, step-ups, and ended with a break station. Clearly, they still have enough energy to give sass to the camera! Never a dull moment with our Lions! 🦁

6th grade pride! Last week, we celebrated our MS students who continue to show us what true LION PRIDE is all about. In total, there were over 100 students who got rewarded for excellent behavior. W-O-W! Our students continuously blow us away!
