Mrs. Sara's 2nd-grade WIN group has been working on a coral reef research project. Yesterday, they presented their facts to their peers and will begin their models next week!

As Parent Teacher Conferences wrap up, we want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our GDE PTO for feeding our teachers all week. 🥰 We couldn't do it without you!

Join us next week in celebrating "Read Across America" week! 📙 These are activities to be done at home, BUT we are celebrating Dr. Suess's birthday together (Thurs. 3/2)! Wear red, white, or stripes to school that day. Happy reading!

Reminder ‼ There will be NO SCHOOL this coming Monday, Feb. 20th in observance of President's Day. Enjoy the 3 day weekend, lions! 🦁

Just a reminder that next week is Parent Teacher Conferences! Please get with your child's teacher for specific times and further details.

Community resource ❗ Don't miss out on TOMORROW's food pantry. 12pm-2pm and 4pm to 6pm at the Western Benton County Career Center. This is for any family that has students attending Gravette Schools. 🦁

Ms. Hunter's pre-k class has been learning how to take care of a baby "pet" all week! 🐶

Yesterday, Mrs. Jones and Ms. Sara's 2nd-grade WIN group mastered STEM puzzles while in the library 🧠 Great problem solving, lions!

After Ms. Hartman's class danced around and had their brain break, they went over their schedule for the rest of the day! Phonics, writing, and readying 🧠 Nice work, kinder!

"I can't promise to fix all your problems, but I can promise you won't have to face them alone." 🧡 Thank you Ms. Baker for standing alongside our littlest of lions and facing their problems as a team. We appreciate you BIG time!

Happy Birthday, Principal Brecheen! We are so thankful for all that you do! 🎂

Wow is all we can say 🧡 Thank you to the Bogle family for paying off ALL the student lunch debt - not only at Upper Elementary, but also at Duffy Elementary. Two. Entire. Schools = no meal debt. We can't even begin to express what this will mean for our families, but just know there has already been happy cheers/tears and lots of hugs. Thank you for being apart of our lion pride and helping ALL students succeed 🦁 #experincethepride

Did you know yesterday was Groundhog day? Mrs. Davis' class did! They put on their artist hats and got to drawing 🎨 Lookin' good, Punxsutawney Phil!

Tomorrow (Friday, February 3rd) will be another AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information. This is due to backroads and parking lots still being covered in ice (which will refreeze tonight) and therefore will be a huge safety risk. Our #1 priority is keeping all of our students and staff safe! Thank you for understanding!

Community resource ❗ Tomorrow's Food Pantry will still be happening, but there is only one pick-up time! Noon - 4pm. Please be careful if you plan to venture out. We know the roads are slick, but wanted this resource to be available for families who may need it 🧡 This is for any family that has students attending Gravette Schools. 🦁

Tomorrow (Thursday, February 2nd) will be another AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information.

Happy "Global Day of Play" and "World Read Aloud Day" 🥳 This icy weather won't get our lions down. ❄ Snuggle up and grab a book or pile on those clothes and get outside to play!

Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 1st) will be another AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information.

UPDATE ❗Tomorrow (Tuesday, January 31) will be an AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information.

ATTENTION ‼️ Today, January 30th, will be an AMI day due to icy and dangerous road conditions. Please make sure you look for further information from your child’s teacher.
