Congratulations to our GHS Student of the Week! 🦁 Freshman, JD Beem, is our winner. Mrs. Hicks said, "Joseph is intelligent, courteous, and a great part of my class." Not to mention, JD had a STELLAR week on the football field when we beat Lincoln last week. 👏

Congratulations to our GHS Student of the Week! 🦁 Senior, Alexa Parker, is our winner. When walking out to take the picture, Alexa said, "I've never got student of the week before! It's cool I got it my senior year. I'm excited for this upcoming year, but I know it will fly by and I'll be graduating in a blink. It's bittersweet." Staff SHOUT OUT 📢 At Tuesday's District Golf Tournament, Head Golf Coach & GMS Assistant Principal, Bryan Bearden, was awarded with 2023-2024 4A-1 Girls Golf Coach of the Year 🥳 Mr. Bearden said, "It's all because of my phenomenal athletes. They lift me up and I give all the credit to them."


Yesterday, our golf team competed in the District Tournament against Pea Ridge, Huntsville, Shiloh Christian, Prairie Grove, Berryville, and Farmington! Our varsity girls came back with the DISTRICT CHAMP title and will compete in the State Tournament next week in Cherokee Village! 🥳 Teagen Muldoon won 1st place overall in the girls' division. Our varsity boys team won 3rd overall! Drake Madison and Hale Stamps qualified as Individuals to compete at the State Tournament in Jonesboro in two weeks. 👏 STATE HERE WE COME. #goforegravette

Yesterday, Ms. Hawkins and Ms. Smithers took a group of students to the University of Arkansas for a tour and to the Washington County College Fair at Fayetteville HS!



Last week, the current seniors earned an ICE CREAM PARTY! This was for winning the most pep-rallies last school year. 🍦
