Don't forget! There is NO SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY due to Fall Break 🍁

Congratulations to our Student Spotlight of the Week, Brady Brewer! 🌟 Mrs. Dueker said, "Brady brought up money that he found in the hallway. We found out that the money belonged to a teacher at GMS. The teacher was very thankful for the return of the money he found. He shows integrity in everything that he does! He is a very sweet and honest young man." Keep it up, Brady! Tune in next Monday to see who our next Student Spotlight will be 🌟

Attendance is a crucial aspect of a student's academic journey, and it cannot be stressed enough how important it is to attend school regularly! While some may argue that missing a few classes here and there doesn't make a significant difference, the truth is that attendance plays a vital role in a student's overall success and development! Take a look at how the numbers break down and how much instructional time your child may be missing.

Red Ribbon Week starts THIS MONDAY! ❤ Here are the dress-up days and info about the poster contest!

It's egg-drop week! As always, Mr. Leach climbed on the roof and launched our student's projects in the air. There were several egg survivors, but also a few that found their forever home on the concrete. 🍳 Several students ended up being in the splash zone and will be taking home their science project on their shoes! 😆

📖 Here's another book recommendation from Mr. Walker! This book explores the experience of adolescence, its physical and emotional stages, and the relationships between teenagers and parents, other adults, peers, school, the media, and society, and suggests ways of coping with common problems. Congratulations to our Student Spotlight of the Week, Emily Blevins! 🌟 Mrs. Youngblood said, "Emily always gives her best and is kind to others. She has integrity, is dependable, and is always willing to help out! She is a true example of a Gravette Lion!" Way to go, girl! 👏 Tune in next Monday to see who our next Student Spotlight will be 🌟

Last week, Mr. Leach's science class created bumpers on their Pasco carts to determine which bumper results in the lowest force and impulse which will be integral info for them this week with their egg drop! The Pasco carts use Bluetooth to connect with our student's Chromebooks so that they get the most accurate readings. So cool!

He goes above and beyond to help when needed!" 🧡 When taking the photo on the GMS sign, Jackson tried to convince us to let him backflip off and get a video for our social media (to no avail) 😂 Don't worry Jackson, we know you could have done it and you are still just as cool and awesome! ☺ Tune in next Monday to see who our next Student Spotlight will be 🌟

Students in Mrs. Youngblood's KeyCode had never typed on a typewriter before. A big shout out to Aaron Witten and Sammie Bates for donating an electric typewriter and a 1945 Underwood typewriter! The kids have been highly entertained with this hands-on experience!
