💯 We have a HUGE number of students that were recognized today for making the A/B and A Honor Rolls. These Gravette Middle School seventh graders were acknowledged during the Lion Pride Assembly for demonstrating mastery of their subjects and focus throughout the semester.

Because education begins and ends at home, credit for the success of these students should be shared with the Gravette families who provide daily support and guidance. Our teachers offer excellent instruction, but parents establish the habits that allow learning to stick. We thank the families who take an active role in the development of their young Lions.

Great work to this group and their teachers! They have proven they understand the value of academic discipline and are building the growth mindset necessary for the paths ahead. We expect to see an even bigger crowd in this photo next semester. 🦁🧡 #LionPride #GravetteSchools

🫶 Gravette Middle School Kids 4 Kids Club members donated pop tabs and 26 handmade tie blankets to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkoma to help families experiencing medical crises.

RMHC representative Savannah Skidmore-Roeseler visited with our club and explained how the charity works and the many ways we can continue to help and serve others. A huge thank you to Mrs. Marsha Kloske for donating blankets to RMHC in honor of her granddaughter Josie, who is a proud K4K member. And a special shout-out to Decatur Assembly of God Church for generously donating the fabric used to make the blankets.

Awesome job to these K4K lions for working together to help others and demonstrating compassionate leadership. We are grateful for the hard work of our students and the support of local partners who made this project successful. 🦁🧡 #LionPride #GravetteSchools

🔔 The Gravette Middle School Choir Department has received a $1,250 grant from the Peter R. Marsh Foundation to expand musical education. The grant funds will enable the music department to introduce handbell instruction as a specialized skill, adding a new layer of beauty and technique to future concerts.

Acceptance of this award will initiate a semester-long service project where three choir groups will travel to local senior facilities. These visits combine musical performance with designated time for students to enjoy the company of local seniors and create special intergenerational experiences.

Our community can look forward to hearing the distinct resonance of handbells enhancing our choir performances very soon. Thank you to Mrs. Galloway for the continued effort seeking new opportunities for our kids. We are also deeply grateful to the Peter R. Marsh Foundation for investing in our students and helping us bridge the gap between generations through music. 🦁🧡 #LionPride #GravetteSchools
