🚨 Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to bring in your $2 donation for the St. Jude Math-a-Thon! 🧡 So far, we’ve collected $325 — but we still have a ways to go to reach our $1,000 goal! Every little bit helps, so please bring in your donations by tomorrow! Let’s make a difference for St. Jude! 🦁 #LionPride

A big thank you to First Bentonville Church for brightening the day with delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes for the GMS staff! We are grateful for your support of our educators. 🧡🦁 #LionPride

Due to inclement weather, Gravette School Distict is closed today - 2/12/2025

For the second year, the Builders Club at GMS have prepared heartfelt cards for the residents at Apple Creek Nursing Home. In total they made 120, one for every resident! 💌
This special project was made possible by the proceeds from our fall dance, where Builders Club members ran the concession stand, photo booth, and worked hard to decorate.
The Builders Club is a service-focused youth division of the Gravette Kiwanis organization, and they’re always looking for ways to support our community! Through dances and other events, they’ve donated to families in need, funded the snack pack program, supported the Kindergarten and Pre-K Easter egg hunts, and contributed to local charities like the NWA Children’s Shelter. They even run the annual food pantry donation project during the holiday season.
Thank you to all the Builders Club members for your hard work, and to everyone who supports our students! #LionPride 🧡

Mrs. Rhea’s 6th-grade chart the course for learning by playing Battleship to practice graphing points on a coordinate plane. Games and simulations like this one help students see how math applies in the real world. Playing games in learning encourages teamwork, boosts critical thinking, and provides a hands-on, engaging way to practice concepts. Thank you to Mrs. Rhea for sharing! 🦁🧡 #LionPride

Help support the K4K Club and the St. Jude Math-a-Thon! 🧮 🧡 Our goal is to raise $1,000 to help children in need.
We're asking each student to bring $2 by February 14th. So far, we've raised $237! Let's keep the momentum going! 🦁 Every contribution makes a difference #LionPride!

Just before the break, Gravette Middle School's Kids 4 Kids held an assembly for donations! We're so proud of our incredible Kids 4 Kids (K4K) Club for their amazing efforts to support the Ronald McDonald House Charity!
Our K4K Club continues to actively collect pop tabs and hand-made tie blankets to donate to RMHC of Arkoma. These small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference for families in need! If you’d like to contribute, pop tab donations are still being accepted at the middle school office. Every tab counts!
On Thursday, we had the privilege of welcoming Ellen Hoelscher, Director of Development at Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC) of Arkoma, to our school! She shared valuable insights about the incredible work RMHC does for families with infants who face long hospital stays. Ellen’s presentation highlighted the vital support RMHC provides, from comfortable accommodations to hot meals, ensuring families can focus on what truly matters — their child's health and recovery.
We were also honored to hear from Mr. and Mrs. Wegner, who shared their heartfelt testimony about how RMHC made a significant impact on their lives during a challenging time. Their story was a powerful reminder of the importance of community support and compassion.
Thank you, Ellen and the Wegner family, for inspiring our students and staff with your stories and dedication to helping others! Together, we can continue to support families in need. ❤️
A special shoutout to Wateena Ahrens for generously donating a huge water jug to help with our collection efforts! Your kindness is truly appreciated!
You can sign up for a meal donation for the RMHC rooms in Rogers or Fayetteville with the following link: https://rmhcofarkoma.org/get-involved/share-a-meal/
