HUGE shout out to GHS DECA students who attended the State Leadership Conference & Competition at the Springdale Convention Center this past month on February 21st and 22nd. Each student completed a written exam and an oral presentation to business professionals. This could be a daunting feat, but not for this group of future leaders!! ALL 13 students placed in their respective events and represented that Lion pride. They are now qualified to attend National competitions in April! Way to go, DECA team!
“I am very proud of the effort and the time students invested in representing themselves and Gravette DECA. Students have worked hard with membership and fundraisers throughout the year.” – Bob Johnson, Advisor.
Tinisha Jordan, a DECA team member, said, “I have enjoyed competing at state this year and I am excited about Nationals.”
Katelyn Trimble, another DECA team member, said, “DECA has helped me learn more about the business world for my future.”
