This week and next week, 1st grade is taking turns going to a ONE ROOM schoolhouse! Some of our Lions said, "I can't believe this is what school was like in the 90s ๐คฏ" ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Yesterday, our school board came and ate lunch with our 1st graders! ๐ The chicken legs were good, but the conversations were even better! A BIG thank you to our school board for taking time out of their busy days to come and share a meal with our Lions. Happy hearts and happy tummies ๐ฆ

In honor of tomorrow being the start of National Principal's Month, take our Buzzfeed quiz to see which Gravette School District Principal you are ๐ Click here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/gravetteschooldistrict/answer-these-5-questions-and-well-tell-you-which-4cu3w5tuv6?utm_source=dynamic&utm_campaign=bfsharecopy

In honor of our big reveal of the Brandon Burlsworth's permanent plaque installation at the Concession stands at tonight's home football game, student Michael Garett brought the "Greater" movie poster AND a special picture to school with him today. โบ In the picture, is Michael's father - Garrett Grant. He was a part of the fab 3 with Brandon Burlsworth. It is SO cool to see moments in Gravette's history being passed down from generation to generation ๐ฆ

Congratulations to our GDE Student of the Week! 1st-grader, Gavin Tims, is our winner. Mrs. Dodge said, "As Gavin was going home on car rider line he saw that a friend needed help opening a door and turned back to help them since I was calling names. He understood that I was busy at that moment and took the initiative to help out. This was above and beyond what was expected of him. He is a leader and shows so much kindness!" ๐ Awesome job, Gavin! #GrowingLionLeaders

Happy Monday GDE family ๐งก We are ready for an AWESOME week! #GrowingLionLeaders
It's FRI-YAY! Make sure to give Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Clevenger a honk and a smile when you see them in the car line today ๐

Even though Autumn doesn't officially start until tomorrow, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Clevenger couldn't help themselves! They broke out the fall themed books and are already dreaming of those crispy fall evenings ๐ Mrs. Rutledge's class was all for it too โบ
"A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference." - Winnie the Pooh. Thank you Logan for thinking of your fellow classmates ๐งก Molly was very appreciative! #GrowingLionLeaders
