📚 Two Glenn Duffy Elementary students in Mrs. Rutledge's class have reached their Accelerated Reader goals for the quarter!

🚒 Bella Vista Fire Department will host Kids Day for families on Saturday, October 4. Children will explore fire safety and enjoy hands-on demonstrations with local firefighters.

🦁 Glenn A. Duffy Elementary held its first leadership assembly on Friday! Students learned about the qualities of a leader and how their classrooms can earn awards for positive action.
The assembly opened with Gravette Middle School cheerleaders forming a pom-pom tunnel to welcome students, followed by a special visit from the Golden Lion.... none other than Superintendent Jeff Gravette! Cheerleaders performed, students sang their new leadership song, and Mr. Gravette shared a story about learning to step up and help out as a young lion cub.
The assembly wrapped up with the “loudest grade level” competition, and Kindergarten roared the loudest to take home the trophy. Overall, student's learned that leadership is about action, teamwork, and pride in our schools. 🧡#LionPride #GravetteSchools

Raising awareness is one way to demonstrate our compassion for children and families who are fighting this awful disease and reminds every student of the importance of kindness and empathy.

🎗️ Gravette is Going Gold on September 4! We’ll be joining other schools across Northwest Arkansas in recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear gold or yellow to show support for children fighting cancer and their families. At Gravette Middle School, this is especially meaningful as one of our Lions is currently battling brain cancer.
