On Friday, our 1st and 2nd-grade students had a visit from the John Brown University Choir students, led by their conductor, Mr. Steven Hamilton. They demonstrated the four voice types (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and what it means to sing in a choir. They also talked about how the voice works. The students participated in vocal warm-ups and rounds. They also were able to hear different styles of singing. Both 1st and 2nd grades enjoyed the visit, asked great questions, and participated with enthusiasm!

Yesterday, the GHS Drama students came over and performed three fairy tales for our Pre-K kids! There were laughs, gasps, and a roaring round of applause when it was all over. Thank you High School students for sharing your talents 🧡
