Mrs. Bassing says, "Despite how busy I know Sydney is with extra-curriculars and sports, she keeps up with all due dates and gives her best effort on all assignments. Earlier this week, we took two reward trips this week to celebrate our amazing, successful students! 🌟 133 students who qualified for the Honor Roll after the first semester attended a reward trip to the Malco on Monday. Additionally, 142 students who showed growth and/or met grade level expectations on last year's ACT Aspire attended a reward trip to Fast Lanes on Wednesday. We are so proud of our student's success and are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate them!!
Today, we held our annual "Shop with a Cop" Volleyball tournament with our high schoolers and teachers! Congrats to our 1st place winners the "Stacked" team 👏 With our Cop team coming in 2nd place. Great way to end our week before Spring Break!
Remember, "Make Up Month" is over so we WILL be having early release today as normal. Thank you!

Here are some of the measures we are taking:
Weather Alerts: We are staying in close contact with local weather authorities to receive alerts and updates about the weather conditions.
Safety Precautions: All of our campuses and classes are utilizing severe storm best practices and safety protocols. Your child is safe!
Transportation: We are coordinating with our transportation team to make any necessary adjustments to bus routes or schedules to ensure safe transportation for students. We will be delaying dismissal.
Communication: We will keep you informed of any changes or updates through our official communication channels, including the Remind App, our website, and social media.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and support during this time.

Earlier this week, Mrs. Weilnau invited Project Search to come and speak to our high schoolers and parents! Project Search prepares young people for success in competitive integrated employment. Students in their program go through multiple internships, resume-building, and mock interviews. There are endless opportunities for our lions! 🦁
