GHS start time has been delayed until 10:00 AM.
Due to a situation in the community, GHS will not start school until 9:00AM today. High school bus riders and teachers will be at GMS and transported to GHS at 9:00AM. High school students who drive their own cars to school may not arrive on campus prior to 8:50AM. GDE, GUE and GMS start time has not changed. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
CONGRATS to the 12 DECA members who recently attended and competed in a two-day state DECA Conference. A total of 4 students medaled! Shea Jensen and Logan Ehrhart got 3rd place, and Brendan Gebhart got 2nd place qualifying for Nationals in California. Great job, DECA students!
The Senior High Quiz Bowl team placed 3rd at the Regional tournament Gravette hosted over the weekend and will be headed to STATE! 🎊 It was even Mrs. Bassing's birthday so the team surprised her with a signed t-shirt and flowers. 🌸 Brian Smithers, who graduated from GHS in 2014, came back to help as a moderator for the tournament! We 🧡 our students and community!

Ms. Lykins' Fashion and Interior Design students took a field trip today to Skyline's manufacturing warehouse. They learned about their Direct-to-Film Printer, sticker printing, and Screen printing. Students got to see how a design goes from an idea on the computer to a shirt. They even got first-hand experience in making their design come to life as a sticker!

Mrs. Jones said, "Kam is such a hard worker and is helpful and respectful; he always puts forth his best effort, and I appreciate how he cares about his education. Today, for example, he came back from being absent yesterday, and he immediately got right to work on the small group assignment we were focusing on. He noticed that one of his classmates didn't have anyone to work with him, and he volunteered to work with him so that he wouldn't be alone. This is the kind of behavior I love to see as a teacher; Kam made my day so much brighter and better by this act of kindness he showed his classmates." 👏
You're looking at the 2024 4A Boys Wrestling STATE CHAMPS! 💪🏻🥳 Along with the COACH OF THE YEAR- AJ Herrlein! Logan Miller and Porter Bird are individual state wrestling champions in their weight categories!
ALL 13 members of the boys wrestling team earned a medal and a place on the podium (finished 1st-4th place). These phenomenal athletes gave it their all yesterday and brought back the trophies to prove it. We are LION PRIDE!

Earlier this week, members from Charlie Craig State Fish Hatchery in Centerton presented to Coach Pittman's Outdoor Pursuits class. Students learned basic fishing knots, and then practiced casting! 🐟
