Over the last few weeks, Future Business Leaders of America sponsored a Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge. The goal was to collect 500 cards and with the help of many students and staff across our district, they collected over 550 cards to send to our active duty military members! Thank you to everyone that helped make this event a success!

Yesterday, Mr. Buck's class helped deliver boxes of goodies to the Sulphur Springs food pantry! Thank you to Gravette Upper Elementary parents and students for being such a BIG help to our community 🧡
Thanksgiving came early for our lions! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie for dessert 🤤 Both students and teachers loved it!

Recently the GHS Pre-Educators had the opportunity to observe three education classes at John Brown University and learn a little more about the program and classes they offer. 🏫 The students even got to engage in live lessons being taught that day!

Tip of the day ❗ Have you checked your child's lunch balance recently? 🍽 You may be thinking, "I don't need to do that! I make my child breakfast and they bring their lunch." Think again! It seems that our Gravette Lions are actually "hobbits" thinking they need 2nd breakfast & lunch 😆 Please make sure you check the balance and if you notice that your child has been eating at home AND getting doubles at school, you can contact our Food Service Director, Sheila, at sheila.roughton@gravetteschools.net. She can flag your child's account so that when they go through the line our food service ladies know that your child eats at home/brings their lunch and will not serve them double.
