Congratulations to GUE Student of the Week! 5th-grader, Aiden Holt, is our winner. One of Aiden's teachers said, "Aiden has continued to demonstrate respect in the classroom and listened to my instructions well (even when other friends are not paying attention). He has been working on his reactions, language to use to explain his feelings, and understanding what makes him upset. Today in class, a student made a comment that hurt his feelings and he told the student "hey, stop, that offended me" and did not make a comment or threat back to him. He loves to help others. I've seen such growth in him!" 🧡

Today was GUE's Science Fair! 🧪 Our participants had to present their projects to our two esteemed judges, Superintendent Childress & Mr. Piatkowski. Johnny said, "I worked real hard on mine and it was fun. Having to present it was kind of like "eeekkk" but I feel good!"
