
Please consider keeping your child's cell phone and/or smart watch at home during ACT Aspire testing, which is next week May 2nd-6th.
If such devices come to school, to avoid any violation, impropriety, or irregularity during testing, GUE personnel are required to collect and hold all student cell phones and smart watches during test administration.

REMINDER, PARENTS ❗ GUE's Field Day is May 20th - mark your calendars. Students will need to wear clothes/shoes they can run and play in! There will also be a snack stand and snow cone machine that will be available for students to purchase treats. 💲 It's going to be a FUN day!

What is Lexia? It is an online learning platform that our teachers utilize! Lexia focuses on literacy - helping students read, write, and speak with confidence - alongside their teacher's instructions. Mrs. Piatkowski's class is whizzing through their Lexia goals and having fun while doing it! 💻

Mrs. Carney's 4th-graders on working on their vocab words this week. Students were given a "Flight School Mission" and after flying their paper airplanes, the class discussed words like projectile and trajectory - both words include the Latin root "ject". 🤯 Great job, 4th graders!! #experiencetheloveforlearning
