From step stools to side tables, our construction students are moving right along! Beautiful work 👏

Today, our automotive classes had a representative from 4 Wheel Concepts come out and talk about their business! They do sales/installation of Jeep, truck, and other auto accessories. From trailer hitches to full custom builds! Thank you, 4 Wheel Concepts, for investing your time in our students!

Another day, another 7018 on some 8" pipe. Puttin' in work! 💥 #experiencethededication

Senior Automotive student, Collin, is hard at work! He is replacing the brakes on a "customer's car". We are thankful for the partnership between us, NWTI Secondary Career Center, and the Gravette School District. It's because of this partnership that the students get to work on actual vehicles (Gravette School District staff vehicles) and get that experience of working with a customer. We are better together! 💙 #experiencethededication

Last week, Senior, Will Davis, did some tig welding in the confined space simulator! 💥 Now imagine being on the job site and being in that position for multiple hours! This is such GREAT practice for our students.

Here are the rest of the pictures from today! Also, HUGE thank you to Gravette Cruise and Car Meet for partnering with our automotive class and raising money for their travels to compete at SkillsUSA in Hot Springs next semester.

This year our welding instructors have turned up the heat! They have provided real workplace simulations. Students have to weld while in harnesses and practice doing welds in uncomfortable/odd positions. Mr. Whiteside had to go slow and teach our students the correct and safe way to put them on for the first time!

As promised, here is all the info regarding the SkillsUSA Christmas Tree Fundraiser! Mr. Simpson even added a NEW DESIGN. Don't miss out! Here is the link to the PDF version: https://5il.co/286nj

Here are the finished results from the construction class step stool project! NICE WORK! #experiencethededication

It's about that time! Last year, we held this fundraiser to help our welding students travel to Hot Springs for the state competition. Because of your generosity and purchases, ALL of our welding students who went to competition were completely covered cost-wise. We are hoping for the same turnout this year! 🤞 More details to come soon!

Back from fall break and hitting the books! Mr. Willaby and our other instructors were ready to get back to work! We missed you, students 💙
