Mrs. Sanders and Ms. Emily's class learned about Farming and Camping this month. They read Mrs. Wishy Washy's Farm and learned how to "sheer" sheep and wash animals and DISHES! During their camping week, students made camp fires, learned basic pre-k first aid (how to apply a bandaid), went fishing, took a hike, and collected critters!

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are thrilled to announce the return of the Report Card RewardZ program presented by GoGo squeeZ, due to its overwhelming popularity the last several seasons! This program is designed to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of students throughout the school year.
Who ❓ All K-8 students who achieve at least one A (or equivalent top grade) on their end-of-year report card.
What ❓Each qualifying student will receive two free premium tickets to the Sunday, June 9th game at Arvest Ballpark and will be recognized on the field/videoboard!
Bonus ❗️After Sunday games, all kids are invited to run the bases at Arvest Ballpark!
How to Redeem:
To claim their two complimentary tickets, students simply need to bring their report card to the Arvest Ballpark box office, accompanied by at least one parent or guardian, and show their report card.

Summer meals are back again! 🍴 This option is available for ANY child between the ages of 0-18. They don't have to be enrolled in the Gravette School District to receive this opportunity.
-How does it work ❓Starting June 3rd from 11-:12:30pm, you pull around the back of Gravette Upper Elementary (as shown in the map below) and give the names of the kids you are picking up lunches for. Then one of our lunch bunch ladies will hand you said amount of sack lunches & milks. Please note that our lunch options are fixed, and we are unable to accommodate individual customization requests. We appreciate your understanding!

Congrats to Mrs. Freeland's 1st graders on buying their first cars! 🚗 Yesterday, Mrs. Freeland invited MR. Freeland into her classroom to teach her students about the entire process of car buying. From who can drive, the different type of vehicles there is, and how to borrow money from the bank! Students got to borrow money from the bank of Mrs. Freeland and then head on over to Mr. Freeland's dealership where they chose their car and haggled to get the price down. Once students purchased the car, they got their very own title! ☺

Last week, Mr. Garton and some theatre kids visited our entire Pre-K for a quick fairytale show! There were laughs, cheers, and a few “yucks” when the prince blew the princess a kiss! ❤️ Thank you, Mr. Garton & HS students!

Mrs. Hunter & Ms. Casey’s class have been “camping” all week! They have earned badges each day learning about campfires, first aid, and Arkansas State Symbols. They even went on a hike and tried s’mores! 🤤

- It is a free camp!
- It is for boys only.
- It goes from after school till 4:30pm.
- Glenn A. Duffy students have it May 7th. Coaches will walk them over to GUE’s gym
after school.
- GUE students will have it May 14th. They will go to the gym after the final bell.
- 6th grade students will be May 21st. Coaches will walk the students over to the
volleyball gym after school.
- Pick up for GDE and GUE camps will be in the car loop.
