Last month, our 2nd and 3rd graders took advantage of the nice weather and did their virtual summer school work outside ๐ #experiencetheloveforlearning




Last week, students at GUE competed to build the tallest tower using 30 coffee stirrer straws, modeling clay, teamwork, and all within 35 minutes. Students, Natalie and Janice, beat the other groups by 3.5โ with their tower standing at 27โ! Nice work, lions! ๐ผ #experiencetheloveforlearning

Here at GUE, we like to celebrate WINS both in and out of school. Today's win is all about our School Resource Officer, Josh Crane. Officer Crane was recently promoted to Corporal ๐ฅณ Thank you Officer Crane for keeping not only our students safe, but also our community!! ๐งก



For the last 9 weeks, Mrs. Fitts club at GUE has been working on a graphic design project! They created their own personal design then they sublimated their designs onto canvases. GREAT JOB, students! ๐ #experiencetheloveforlearning

REMINDER, PARENTS โ GUE's Field Day is TOMORROW. Students will need to wear clothes/shoes they can run and play in! There will also be a snack stand and snow cone machine that will be available for students to purchase treats. ๐ฒ It's going to be a FUN day!

ATTENTION PARENTS! Gravette Public Library is gearing up for its Summer Learning Program. This summer's theme is Oceans of Possibilities, and registration opens through the ReadSquared app starting June 16th. Parents, you can also call the library at 479-787-6955 to register. It is for ages 3-12 and itโs FREE! Each week will have a specific theme, a special presenter, and hands-on STEAM activities. Children can earn brag tags and beads as well as incentives for minutes read!

On Monday, Mrs. Gripe's 5th-graders did breakout boxes! These boxes were basically an escape room in a box. Students had clues they tried to solve so they could open the locks! It was a brain buster for sure ๐คฏ
