๐ Did you hear your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married? Turns out theyโre not the only ones. Love is everywhere in Gravette, and plenty of our staff have found the best thing thatโs ever been theirs.
Some stories began in high school, some online, some in a principalโs office, and some have been going strong for decades. Each one reminds us that Gravette is where connections last forever and always.
Congratulations to the happy couples who have made the workplace their home away from home. Your classrooms, gyms, offices, and rehearsal halls are part of your family story. Thank you for sharing your love, your laughter, and your example with our students and community. ๐ฆ๐งก #LionPride #GravetteSchools

๐๏ธ Gravette is Going Gold on September 4! Weโll be joining other schools across Northwest Arkansas in recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear gold or yellow to show support for children fighting cancer and their families. At Gravette Middle School, this is especially meaningful as one of our Lions is currently battling brain cancer.
Your support shows strength and solidarity with families facing the hardship of childhood cancer. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. ๐ฆ๐งก #LionPride #GravetteSchools

๐ฆ The 2024โ25 school year is in the books. For many in our schools, it was their first... first year leading, first year learning, or first year walking through our doors.
Weโre proud of the progress made and thankful for the people who made it possible. From Mr. Gravetteโs first year as superintendent to Dr. Newsomโs first year at Glenn A. Duffy Elementary, this was a year of fresh starts and firm steps forward. Across all our schools, staff and students put in the work and showed what it means to be part of Gravette.
Our students and staff are strong, focused, and ready. And the 2025-2026 school year is already looking bright. See you next year, Lions! Enjoy the time off and come back recharged and ready to pounce! ๐งก #LionPride #GravetteSchools

๐จ Fifth graders Vivienne Whiteside and Journey Taylor (not pictured) were selected as winners of the American Legionโs War on Drugs poster contest at Gravette Upper Elementary. Their artwork will now represent our community at the state level.
The contest challenges students to design a poster that visualizes the personal impact of drug use, using their own creativity and voice. Vivienne and Journeyโs designs deliver strong, clear messages. Vivienneโs poster features the dangers of cigarettes, while Journeyโs shows the effects of drug addiction on the body and mind.
Weโre proud of their achievement and the thoughtful work they put into these projects. Good luck at the state-level contest, Lions! ๐ฆ๐งก

๐ต Gravette High School freshman Isaac Nichols visited third graders at Gravette Upper Elementary to demonstrate the didgeridoo, a traditional Aboriginal Australian instrument. Students got to hear how the instrument works, learn where it comes from, and ask questions, straight from a fellow Lion!
Moments like this help younger students see themselves in the years ahead, and remind older ones of what theyโve learned and how far theyโve come.. We love to see Lions of all ages learning from one another!๐ฆ๐งก #LionPride #GravetteSchools
